Haymaking 2007

After a long wet summer we finally got the hay field cut.
It was a bit of a gamble with rain around the country but thankfully it dodged around Rossendale for once!
It was all rowed up just 20 mins before the baler arrived
Not bad for an amateur!	A change from last year - Kim's crew baled for us.

A few drops of rain started during wrapping - but not enough to worry about.
It did seem that we would never get it in this year but it all came together in the end!

Starting to mow...	...the re-seeded corner where last year was a muck heap!
A cut up the middle...	...clean fresh June grass !

We only broke 3 tines this year...	...compared to 10 last year!
